During law school she volunteered for Student Legal Assistance Trial Division at the University of Calgary, as well as for Pro Bono Students Canada. As a law student, Patricia worked with federal and provincial government bodies in the areas of business and regulatory law.

Prior to law school, Patricia enjoyed a career as a youth employment facilitator for a not for profit immigrant service agency. She is fluent in French and Spanish.

In her spare time she enjoys long distance running, yoga, and trying to improve her short game in golf. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
